Pinballin - A Portsmouth GameJam 2018 Entry

Pinballin was created as part of the 5 day University of Portsmouth Gamejam 2018

The game was created in just 5 working days between the hours of 9am to 5pm and was to be based on at least one of the following themes:

  • D-Side
    • An Irish Boyband of relatively little fame
  • David L. Levey
    • A children's rights activist
  • Pallissery
    • A village in Kerala, India

We created a classic pinball game in Unreal Engine using Blueprints, George Brown was responsible for creating the pinball controllers that were incredibly well received by everyone who played it.

Pinballin won two of the GameJam awards:

  • Best Design
    • A peoples choice award for the game they felt had the best design
  • Best Use of Technology
    • A Judges category for the game the judges felt had the best utilisation of the technology available
